Tonight my family broke my heart?

My sisters now husbands parents got divorced a few months before their wedding. His father didn't come to anything including the party's and rehearsal dinner because he was worried his ex would cause a scene. It broke my brother-in-laws heart and his fathers heart. He wasn't a part of the most important day of his sons life and my sister tells me how much he regrets it every day. I think you will go through the same thing if you miss this. Don't get drunk, hold your head up high, and if you start to feel down just mentally tell them to kiss you a%$. Show them your better than they are. Who knows, it might be fun!
