"the liar"...a letter that {i think} a lot of ppl can relate to...?

If I said to you, "I am a habitual liar, I always lie." It would mean that what I said is a lie, which means that I don't always lie. By claiming to be a liar and not lying, I have now lied, so I really am a liar. So which is it, am I a liar or not.
