My lights will not come on On my 99 zx6r nor turn signals check fuses and battery both are good. Help.?

The bike has been sitting for over a year bought it for cheap but it needed a cdi box. The battery was doa, got a new one but the head light nor turn sigs work tail light and brake are fine. Is there way to trouble shoot this? One of the turn sigs is blown would that shut down the whole thing? Please Help!
