I was discharged from a family business after 13 years employment because of a family divorce situation.?

This discharge was unwarranted because I was accused of choosing sides. I have never been reprimanded, written up, nor talked to. I worked this supervisory position with the understanding that one day it would be mine. Do I have any legal repercussions?
