Is it worth it to become a part time taxi driver in Australia?

I used to drive a cab about 15 years ago I gave it up because I wasnt making any money out of it,you only get paid when you have a penger in the cab but most of your time is taken up waiting at the cab rank or driving around looking for a fare,sometimes I used to drive for 10 hours and make less than $50 after expenses,good luck if you want to try it.
