What happens to an allosteric enzyme when the concentration of substrate around the molecule increases?

I would say "C", but this is a pretty poor question. Really without the signal molectle, nothing will happen, regardless of how much substrate you have. This is because that enzyme won't do anything without BOTH the substrate and the signal protein, in general. (there are also some substrates that bind allosterically that turn off the enzyme, but that is another story!)
