Would I be a good Kim in Bye Bye Birdie?

Jeez, Bye-Bye-Birdie, lol. Just some info: The play was actually written for the actress playing Kim. It was meant for her lead role to catch the eye of the big leagues, so she could become a star. After watching the play, and the movie, I was informed that yes, she is supposed to sing a little awkwardly, but nevermind that on your audition. What you look like doesn't generally mean anything as long as you have the style. Remember: Kim doesn't just sing, she acts. Get into it while you are auditioning. Good Luck!
